Marquette Township Fire and Rescue was formed in 1975 with 14 members and has grown to 30 active members. Marquette Township Fire and Rescue is a combination department that provides Fire, EMS, Technical Rescue, and Hazmat response for residents and visitors to our community. The mission is to minimize exposure of the Charter Township of Marquette to the Prevention, Planning and Response. In an effort by the membership to continue meeting these goals through educational excellence and the support of future generations, the Marquette Township Fire Department Membership Fund established a scholarship based on the following criteria, a recipient should be:
